Children's Services

For the "Babies"

We provide a safe, secure, lively but peaceful environment for children 4 months to 2 years of age. This ministry allows you to participate in worship service with the confidence of knowing your child is in good hands.

To help us ensure a positive experience for you and your children please be mindful of the following:

  • Please provide any specific instructions for your child via our electronic check-in system.
Give us instructions on food allergies, feeding (bottle) times, naps, potty training, or any other details on caring for your child while in our care. Your willingness to do this during the check-in process allows our volunteers to better serve your child.
  • A snack — may be served to the children while in the nursery. If your child requires a different snack for any reason, please let the teacher and volunteers know.
  • Children will only be released to parents or guardians when electronic labels are presented and matched at the time of check out.
If you need help with signing your child in on our electronic system a member from a nursery volunteers will assist you.

For Toddlers through Fifth Grade

WHAT TO EXPECT (Toddlers - 5th grade)
At Junior Church, we believe that Jesus loves children and that the Gospel is for young as well as old. Every Sunday, toddlers through 5th graders experience a fun, engaging, and structured classroom time during the worship service.
The classroom time includes an opening activity, teaching time, discussion, and game. Every aspect of this ministry is intended to support parents in teaching their children the good news about Jesus Christ.

Junior Church values your child's safety. Before joining Junior Church, every prospective volunteer completes a thorough application and consents to a background check, and then undergoes our safe sanctuary training process.

CHECK-IN
Each Sunday, you will be greeted by Junior Church volunteers and asked to check your children in prior to walking them to their classroom. We use an electronic check-in system that makes this a quick and easy process.
You will receive two labels: one for each child to wear and one for you to keep during the service. At the end of the service, to ensure the safety of each child, we will collect your label and make sure it matches the child(ren).
